Mauritania and China have inked a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening trade and commerce under the Belt and Road Initiative – a China-led multinational infrastructure project aimed at establishing global trade routes. The agreement was signed on July 28 during Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani’s state visit to Chengdu, China.
