Supply constraints send North Sea region’s natural gas prices up

UK wholesale gas prices mostly rose on Monday morning, supported by undersupplied system and expectations of tighter balance next week.

The day-ahead contract rose by 0.60 pence to 30.00 p/therm by 0900 GMT.

The within-day contract traded flat to its Friday level at 30.25 p/therm.
